Your internships or thesis.
An internship offers a look behind the scenes.
An internship is open to students from universities and universities of applied sciences. The main thing is that you are eager to apply what you have learnt there to the real world. The added bonus is you get to know a unique company in a demanding environment. You will need to be open to new experiences and have the requisite time. In return, you'll get to see a whole new side of the aviation sector and a look behind the scenes.
For students after the second semester of their specialism (major)
Open your eyes to a new world and learn more about DFS as an employer.
What you bring to the table.
You are studying at a university or university of applied sciences and want to learn more about our world. For the best chances of success, you should be studying one of the following subjects:
- Electrical engineering / telecommunications / hi-frequency engineering
- Computer science
- Aerospace technology
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Combined business and engineering degrees
You need to be at least in the second semester of your specialism (major) and have three or more months' time to set aside for the internship. That is what is best for you and best for us as well.
You should plan a lead time of at least four to five months before you want to start working on your thesis with us. Your application should include the potential topic of your thesis and the time period you would like to spend with us. If everything falls into place, then the way is open for you to complete your thesis with us.
Bachelor's or master's thesis as a spring board.
Both parties have much to gain from such arrangements. You will be able to devote yourself to researching a fascinating topic related to aviation. We benefit from being able to use your results to improve how we work.
Bachelor's and master's students
Make aviation and air navigation services the subject of your research.
