Advanced training
At the Academy, the continuing and further training programmes are promoted. Both DFS and external staff can avail of the wide-ranging offer of seminars at the Academy.
General seminars cover the following subjects:
- Advanced training of operational staff from the areas of air traffic control, flight data handling, aeronautical information services and technical air navigation services; this training is carried out as part of the Academy’s upgrade, proficiency and conversion training programmes
- Advanced training of non-operational staff of the air navigation services
- Training in aviation English
Further components of the programmes are seminars for the qualification of instructors, examiners and managers in the air navigation services and the engineering services.
