Arriving by car
Leave motorway A7 at the exit “HH-Schnelsen Nord” and drive towards the airport via the roads Oldesloer Straße, Swebenweg, Krohnstieg, Flughafenumgehung (B433). Take the second exit at the airport in the direction of the repair hangar (Luftwerft) and Holiday Parken. Take the next right onto the road “Weg beim Jäger” and keep driving until you reach the entrance to the General Aviation Terminal (GFZ). The entrance to the GFZ is the first one on the right (opposite the entrance to Holiday Parken). After passing security, head straight towards the GFZ and keep left towards the security post which is located west of the GFZ. Only one vehicle at a time may pass through the barrier. Security staff will check people, baggage and vehicles. Visitors without a valid airport security identity card will receive a day pass upon presentation of a personal identification card. Please note that a day pass can only be issued once in 30 days in cases where the individual does not have security clearance or authorisation to access Hamburg Airport. Visitors without an airport ID card will be met at the security post.

Arriving by bus, train and aircraft

Airport City Bus
From Hamburg central station (Hamburg Hauptbahnhof), take the airport city bus ("Jasper Bus") on the northern side of the station to the bus stop "Flughafen-Terminal 4". It takes about 30 minutes to reach the airport.
1. It is possible to pick up visitors at the radar tower (building 142) upon prior arrangement by telephone.
2. You can take a taxi from the terminal to the security post at the Geschäftsfliegerzentrum (GFZ) and walk to the DFS building.
