Die DFS beschafft für etwa 45 Mio. Euro IT-Systeme für den Bereich Air Traffic Control (Flugverkehrskontrolle). Etwa 83 Prozent dieses Wertes entfallen auf IT-Systeme aus den folgend genannten Bereichen:
- Air traffic services (Flugverkehrsdienste)
- Ground-to-ground communication (terrestrische Kommunikation)
- Airspace and air traffic flow management (Verkehrsflussregelung)
- Infrastructure management support,
- Operational trainers and simulators (Trainer und Simulatoren für Betrieb)
17 Prozent des oben genannten Wertes werden für folgende Bereiche ausgegeben
- Precision approach and landing systems (Präzisionsanflugsysteme)
- Ground-to-air communication (Boden/Bord-Kommunikation)
- TMA capacity
- Independent surveillance
- Maintenance trainers and simulators (Trainer/Simulatoren für Wartung)
- Enroute navigation and non-precision approach systems (Streckennavigations- und Nicht-Präzisionsanflugsysteme)
- Dependent surveillance
