No restrictions in air traffic
9/5/2010 - Take-offs and landings are possible again in the entire Germany airspace.
Due to high contamination from volcanic ash, there were restrictions in the southern part of German airspace on Sunday. Munich Airport was closed for take-offs and landings since 15:00 hrs local time. Other airports in the region, such as Stuttgart Airport and several regional airports, were temporarily affected by the restrictions. According to the current information provided by the German meteorological service DWD, the ash contamination has now decreased, so all restrictions in German airspace can be lifted with immediate effect.
