No strike at the air navigation services

DFS and the trade union GDF resolve labour dispute

Last Friday, DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung and the German air navigation services union “Gewerkschaft der Flugsicherung” (GdF) reached an agreement on workload-related compensation in the collective bargaining. Now the labour dispute action announced by the GdF is no longer an issue.

The agreement was reached after two days of talks between the DFS Board of Managing Directors and GdF representatives. These meetings were held at the initiative of and were moderated by Robert Scholl, the Chairman of the DFS Supervisory Board. Although difficult, the talks were very objective and constructive. The parties have agreed to make a declaration by 28 April about whether the result is accepted.
