Langen, 11 February 2009 Always up-to-date: Air law at a mouse click
German, European and international aviation legislation that is updated as necessary can now be downloaded from the DFS website. The new electronic “Luftrecht eBook” can be purchased in our DFS online shop. Users of the software will be informed about any changes to the legislation. This digital tool sorts the information according to the scope of the standards and has a full-text search function, allowing users to search by keywords and subjects. Users can bookmark individual pages. There is also a special user-friendly overview of the laws that have been updated. In addition, all pages can be printed out at the click of a mouse. Apart from national air law, users can access the German-language regulations of the European Community, such as the EC Treaty, regulations, provisions and directives. International aviation agreements complement this database, which was compiled by Aviaportal-Verlag in cooperation with the air-law experts professor Elmar Giemulla, who lectures at Berlin university of technology and at the Federal University of Applied Administrative Sciences, and lawyer Heiko van Schyndel. It is an ideal source for anyone dealing with aviation legislation issues, such as public authorities, airlines, business aviation, aerodrome and airport operators, flying schools and pilots. An annual subscription to the “Luftrecht eBook” can be purchased at www.dfs-aviationshop.de for EUR 57.
