Langen, 27 January 2007 Strike apparently averted - Agreement reached
An agreement has been reached in the collective bargaining dispute at DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH. The bargaining parties have not yet communicated any details. The outcome will be presented to the bodies concerned in the coming week and a final decision will be taken no later than Thursday. An air traffic controllers' strike has most probably been averted. In addition, DFS is represented in the Eurocontrol Centre in Maastricht, the Netherlands, and in the control towers of the 16 international German airports. DFS provides training and consultancy services around the world and develops and sells air traffic control, surveillance and navigation systems. The company's portfolio also comprises flight-relevant data, aeronautical publications and aeronautical information services.
