Arbitration date set

The arbitration proceedings in the labour dispute at DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH are expected to last until the end of January. DFS and the air navigation services union (GdF) today agreed with the arbitrator, Professor Herta Däubler-Gmelin, to have the first tribunal hearing on 19 January in Berlin. Also agreed were the subsequent arbitration dates of 22, 25 and 26 January. Both parties and the arbitrator agreed to keep 27 January open as an option. It is too early to say when the arbitrator will give her award. Within the two weeks after the first session of negotiations, the arbitrator shall set a date for her ruling.



DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH is a State-owned company under private law and has 5,200 employees. DFS ensures the safe and punctual handling of flights.
