Schwere Störung am Flughafen München

A departing and a landing aircraft came too close to each other
On 3 May 2004 at 21.40 hrs, an aircraft proximity occurred on runway 08 right (southern runway) at Munich Airport. The aircraft involved were a two-engine propeller aircraft of type ATR 45 and a landing Boeing 737. The incident occurred when the ATR 45 taxied onto the runway about 1000 metres from the start of the runway on which the Boeing 737 was about to land.
