DFS offers new charts for VFR flights

Let's go to Denmark with the Airfield Guide Denmark
With the Airfield Guide Denmark, DFS now offers a variety of VFR and aerodrome charts for tourist locations and other destinations of interest to VFR pilots. The loose-leaf collection comprises 15 charts and is in keeping with the German AIP VFR layout. It contains a general section about the airspace structure and the VFR rules in Denmark. Precise and comprehensive information for pre-flight planning and the flight is provided in the familiar conclusive manner.

“With the Airfield Guide Denmark DFS is acting on the idea of the Single European Sky Initiative of the European Commission, as it did recently with the Airfield Guide Poland", commented Frank Brenner, Director Aeronautical Data Management at DFS. "The Airfield Guide series is in line with our customers' requests to provide aeronautical charts of European States in a harmonised layout.“

DFS also makes the new charts of the "Airfield Guide Denmark" available to manufacturers of electronic displays, such as GPS handhelds, to be integrated into their systems.

The Airfield Guide Denmark can be ordered from the DFS Aeronautical Information Services Centre (AIS-C), tel. +49 69 78072-540, at a cost of €19.90.
