The following diagram gives examples of current international partnerships.



DFS – LVNL, Netherlands (Luchtverkeersleiding Nederland)
Partner in the FABEC initiative (Functional Airspace Block Europe Central). A further bilateral alliance aims to expedite the implementation of FABEC. In this alliance, some issues are dealt with in detail and, once successfully implemented, are made accessible to the FABEC partners. Some examples are the cross-border airspace optimisation, common specifications and the procurement of technology as well as the consolidation of support functions.

DFS – DSNA, France (Direction des Services de la Navigation Aérienne)

DFS – State ATM Russia
DFS has always maintained good contacts to the Russian ANSP. The cooperation covers several areas, from ANS procedures, the organisation and re-structuring of airspace, real- and fast-time simulations down to consulting services for technology solutions.

DFS – UKSATSE, Ukraine (Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise)
DFS has good connections to the Ukraine with regard to air traffic in one of the key countries of that region. To this end, an intensive exchange about current developments takes place between both organisations.

DFS – Kazaeronavigatsia, Kazakhstan (Air Navigation Services Provider of the Republic of Kazakhstan)
DFS also has close contacts to Kazakhstan. This country has one of the largest airspaces in the region. Based on a Memorandum of Understanding, DFS supports the development of air traffic control there.

DFS – AZANS, Azerbaijan (Azeraeronavigation Enterprise)
DFS has an agreement with Azerbaijan to help upgrade their air traffic control system and to cooperate in areas of interest to both parties.

DFS – EURASIA
As a cooperative partner of Eurasia, DFS supports the exchange of experience between FABEC and Eurasia, an organisation that has existed since 1999 with the Member States Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan (Azerbaijan, Armenia and Moldavia are associated partners). The aim is to improve the cooperation between the States in all fields relating to air navigation services. With its network in eastern Europe, DFS forms the bridge between Europe and the CIS States.
