Maybe you have already heard about DFS. You know what the company does and you’re interested in the air traffic controller profession. So, before you apply, you would like to know what exactly an air traffic controller does. What is taught in the training course? How many trainees are on one course? How practical is the training? Are you studying at university or business school level, and have you already chosen your special subjects? Then don’t miss the opportunity for a work placement lasting at least eight weeks or for several months at DFS in order to gain an insight into the day-to-day business of our company. You will be able to work on certain projects independently and perform challenging tasks. You will learn how to work with state-of-the-art technology and become familiar with operational processes. During your placement, you will be supported by a mentor from the department. At the end, you will both take stock of what you have learned. At the university you will be able to further develop the skills you acquired.
